INFRARED ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL INSPECTIONS SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY!

WHAT IS INFRARED?

All objects on the earth emit heat, (also referred to as thermal "energy), the amount of which is proportional to an objectıs temperature-that is, the hotter the object, the more thermal energy it radiates. HOT/SHOTıs Infrared Video Thermal Imaging cameras "see" thermal differences and depict warmer areas as shades of white and cooler areas as shades of black.

HOW DOES INFRARED WORK FOR YOU?

Our certified thermographers quickly and non-destructively pinpoint problems that cannot be seen with the naked eye, such as loose connections, faulty breakers, disconnects, overloaded circuits, imbalanced loads, weak motor windings and bearings and much more.

WHAT IS INSPECTED?

Typically we include the following equipment in our surveys:

·Switch Gear
·MCC's
·Transformers
·Motors
·Disconnects
·Starters
·Chillers
·HVAC Equipment
·Lighting Panels
·Lieberts
·Emergency Generators

WHAT ARE THE SAVINGS?

For every minor and/or intermediate problem detected, there is a potential savings of $500. Every SERIOUS and/or CRITICAL problem has a potential savings of $5000. A typical infrared inspection can net a savings of $14,000!* Valuable time is saved by incorporating an annual infrared electrical survey into your PM program. It provides you with accurate information of the integrity of your systemıs components, cuts down on maintenance time (you fix only whatıs broken), prevents costly replacements and can eliminate unforeseen outages and downtime.

WHAT DOCUMENTATION IS RECEIVED?

HOT/SHOT provides you with a detailed easy-to-read reporting format. It consists of a video tape of the problems detected, in infrared. A troubleshooting sheet accompanies each problem
indicating all temperatures, categorizes the problem and includes a color visible light photo. An overall synopsis is also provided. Problems can be easily located and appropriate repairs scheduled.
